To Friends and Family
We want to share Brad's health information of his condition that he has been diagnosed with Pleuropulmonary Pulmonary Fibrosis.
A few of you know that Brad has been sick with a cough for awhile. We have been told it was Pneumonia, but it was not. As we where coming back home from are trip this fall, Brad started coughing a lot more. He went to see his doctor again and refer to having a cat-scan. Doctors discovered that it was not Pneumonia, so they started him on some new drugs. In February he went back to the doctors discovering that the drugs were not working. Brad had to have another cat-scan and his new diagnose was not positive. We were told that he has Pleuropulmonary Pulmonary Fibrosis that is a rare disease. There isn't much they can do but make sure that he is comfortable for the rest of his life. Brad does have a team of doctors that are working with us and researching about this rare disease to understand it more. Brad is on oxygen to help him to breath and be comfortable.
We are asking for pray warriors for our family to be lifted up for strength though this hardship. Pray for Brad to heal his body and keep the pain away. One of Brad's wishes is to travel to the East Coast and asking prayer that Brad and I are able to fulfill his wish enjoying the special time together.
This blog is where we can update Brads condition as the days go by. Plus, you are welcome to leave messages or share your stories on this blog. We will be sharing this on Facebook too.
